well i've been in Pgh the past few days...really relaxing and trying to stay warm and dry...the weather has not been conducive to doing much other than drinking wine by the fire...but we have gotten out and about town...got me (and my dad...yeah) some new running shoes...but unfortunately have not used them...i did get out for a 6 miler today...i had to wait until the rain turned to snow...so it would not be really yucky...
running in the snow is kind of fun...when you don't have to do it all the time...it made me feel a bit like i was running in a snow globe...saw a dude with hunting gear and a shot gun...made me run a little faster...also i always forget how many hills there are out here...lots of fun to run...dirty wet and fun...
the weather does not look like it will be improving much...and i'm a little worried that it is going to get worse before it gets better...which means my trip to see my bro and sis-in-law and nephews might not happen...and that is really sad...i of course am really lame about driving in ice...just because i have not done it for so long...and well it is really scary to drive in....so think good thoughts for me and hope that i get out there to see them...now...time for some wine :D

ummm...you're not lame about not driving on ice...no one can do it safely! except for maybe some fancy vehicle that's meant to move on ice, like the Zamboni machine that clears ice skating rinks:) hope it doesn't get too bad for you to travel...enjoy your time away but come home soon - we miss you!
