enough...never

so i was thinking the other day...while climbing up the steps of barton springs...after having done a mile in the water...why can i never get enough of this...why is it not enough for me to just run down to the gym and do 30 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes of weights...it used to be just fine...and now...it is not enough...not even close...

i don't dread working out...i don't skip workouts...i always find time in my schedule to do a swim, bike, run or yoga...or something...even off days are days for building, yard work, Frisbee what ever...swing even...i love it...i love the feeling of having worked hard, really hard before most of the town has gotten up...i love going for a chilly run in the morning...and coming back home and crawling in bed for a few minutes...still with time to have another cup of coffee...

i love meeting new people and talking sports...just chatting about the race they did or are working on...it never comes out of my mouth first that i like endurance sports...because it is not about me v them...it is about getting out into the out side world and moving...get your body moving...i am so happy when i hear it coming from other people how much they love cycling or running or whatever...and my hat's off even to the really overweight guy at barton springs yesterday with a fin a snorkel and a speedo...seriously...he's getting out there and doing something...are you?
