swim/taper

morning am swim at barton springs...45 minute continuous...got up to 2100 in 44 minutes...and called it a day...i was really happy with that...i know it's not lightning fast...but hey...i'm not that super fast of a swimmer...and i was still dodging and weaving around people who just don't look up while swimming...(how do they do this)...a guy? i think wearing only flippers swimming underwater...shocking all those around...i thought there was debris in the water the way everyone was popping up looking befuddled...but no...just someone with no pants flippering deep underwater across the pool while we were all doing our length wise laps...sun was coming up as i chatted with eric and chuck on their way out for a run...always a pleasure...

home to get ready for a test that i think i did really well on...then two more classes then lab...then running practice...back at o'henry school...running hills in the neighborhood...i knew it was going to be dark...but man...it was really dark at 6pm...we all had reflective things and vests on...some times it was hard to see...but it ended up being a good workout...

400m hill repeats...but we ran in an 400m square on the road so one loop was two 400 strong two recovery...and since we started day one of the taper...we had three loops...instead of four!...hey...it's something :)
