back on track

am core workout was all about the abs...awesome...it totally burned in that oh so good way...home for some great oatmeal (i've been totally into this stuff lately) then study time...

off to class three in a row...nothing too exciting then home to study more...test friday and next tuesday...pesky...wasn't really focused when i got home...kept getting up to do other stuff like clean out the kitchen sink...guess i'm just better at the home work in the mornings..

then it was off to track practice...and we were back on the track! yeah! even if it's the tiny track it's way better than a field...we were doing mile repeats so coach logan got there early for those of us who were doing many...i got there about 5.15 so i could be done at a reasonable hour...did a warm up some drills some strides then 5x1mile repeats...trying to negative split...we were supposed to start out at 10k pace...i'm not really sure what that is these days so i started at an effort i thought was 10 k and it went something like this
1. 7.46
2. 7.42
3. 7.30
4. 7.23
5. 7.16

had an option to do 6 but i was feeling good...and felt that if i did do one more i wouldn't be feeling quite as good so i called it a night...

home for greek food :) and early to bed after watching bones...i like that show...and i am never around to catch the whole thing...come to think of it i really don't even know when it's on...i just get lucky sometimes :P
