busy off day nice saturday...bad wake-up call

slept in on the off day (yeah 7.45am) j woke me up so i could get him off to work with a nutritious lunch and i could be on my way to the dentist...j said "we have been here long enough for you to have had two dentist appointments?!?" yes we have...amazing...

then the usual friday errands...HEB etc...homework...again with the gas laws and the chemistry...4pm interview with RoguEquipment...was thinking of doing a summer stint there ~20hrs a week...discount :) etc...good interview...josh the manager is really nice and very mellow CO dude...they will get back to me...

then to gingerman to meet up with j and some other TXfrogs...had a half pint of pear cider...and felt like a girl doing it...but hey...i am...then to Lamberts for dinner...yum...fancy BBQ

saturday ride with Amy....exploring routes out near the veloway and her casa...very nice ride...started out chilly but warmed up quickly...found a really nice IM pace out on the autobahn...if we were elites ha!...fast with a nice cadence...that feels right...~2hrs on the bike...very nice...time goes fast when you are just riding and chatting catching up etc...i love it...short run off the bike...no watch...i'm thinking about 15 minutes...

home for relaxing afternoon with j...baked him a cheesecake (my mom's? aunt virginia's recipe) but added a mixed berry glaze on the top...should be good...we will see today...made the chicken with 40 cloves of garlic and the pea and butter lettuce salad from this months Fine Cooking...both really good...watch sweet land on DVD...a very nice evening...

up this morning....happy birthday to my bear :) ...to find some of our plants stolen again...you thought it was ridiculous last time...this time it is more ridiculous...since the baskets are now chained to the porch they just stole_the plants out of the pots_...i mean are you kidding...who does this stuff....again reported to APD...and we are soon to have a very bear front porch...so much for making it welcoming...
