up around 8 this morning...totally slept in due to break...off to the gym to try my new weight routine...jeremiah made me a copy of the workout from the past issue of triathlete magazine...11 moves for around the body all sport specific...seems to be a good routine...but i did add some bicep curls and a few ab exercises to round it out...and adjusted the suggestion for light weights lots of reps...and did what i would consider normal/heavy weights 8-10 reps, two sets...seemed perfect to me...not too much time in the gym but enough to feel like i actually got a workout in...
bought a new pair of jeans...with some birthday money i got from my aunt and uncle!! thanks guys!...home for lunch
veloway in the afternoon for a ~hour long ride....just loops...practicing my steering in the aerobars...hmmm that is a bit shaky...i am fine with nice slow turns but the quick more technical stuff is questionable...lots of little ones out with their moms as dads...must be break for them too...
nice sunny afternoon in the upper 60's...seared tuna, sesame noodles and bok choy for dinner...with a glass of local texas red...lots of piddling to do this evening...any suggestions out there for training logs?...i still haven't had a chance to check the one paul is loving...but want to know what options are out there...
