nice lamar bridge loop this morning at 6am did the usual run in 39.18 minutes instead of just over 40 :) and didn't feel like i was trying too hard...nice run after a longish one yesterday...nothing feels out of place or twingey
swim clinic...i can't believe it we have only one left...after a big kids warm-up of 200...then 100 alternating kick/swim then 100 alternating drill/swim....we worked on perceived effort levels of 80, 85, 90 and 95%...x 2 getting times and stroke rates as we go...this is the first time i have ever timed myself in the pool...interesting but not great...actually i was disappointed...i feel like i am not there yet with the stroke and thus not able to focus on the speed...i am still too busy thinking touch pull roll catch zipper breathe...guess that just means it is time to practice...then a 100 continuous where i felt like it all just feel apart...argh...ok really time to practice
missed the first cap-tex workout for swim clinic...and apparently so did several others as they are also in swim clinic...i'm excited to see who is in the group...

Re: swim stroke implosion, I know the feeling! You've heard me lament a'plenty. Just remember, we're nubes and supposed to have days when all the bits and peices we're building will crumble to the bottom of the pool...just means we're working hard to put it all together. And it will take LOTS of practice to do so. Also seems to me that regressions, at this point anyway, are random rather than diminishing on a linear path. Rest assured, you've got skills! And as you said, practice, practice, practice.
